Test Results
The live ammunition shooting test shows that Composite of PE and Ceramic(sample), can effectively prevent the penetration of bullet caliber of 7.62mm 53 type armor-piercing cartridge, fired by 7.62mm 85 type Sniping Rifle, at the distance of 15m from the muzzle of the test weapon. Test condition is normal temperature (natural temperature). The maximum deformation depth is 35.0mm. the ballistic protection performance meets level IV requirements of NIJ standard-0101.04 ballistic resistance of personal Body Armor.
